Subject: Prep tip, I'll share it with anyone, been sharing it for years

Virginia, Northern Neck
I've been getting scoped every 3 years since I was 40.

One year they punctured my colon and I spent 3 days in the hospital.

Only downside, I was not allowed to eat during that time, so could not enjoy that great hospital chow.

I plan to get scoped every 3 years until I die.

Here is my secret - in addition to whatever prep you use, it is 100% OK to pound down light beers (Busch Lite, Keystone Lite, or equivalent).

I drink weak black coffee until noon the day before, then, as soon as I start to feel hungry, I start drinking light beer, and continue whatever prep I am using.

Doc always says I did an excellent prep (he needs to see clearly what is going on in there) and I never feel hungry.

A dozen or so light beers the day before really take the edge off, and they never show up on the scope.

You do you, whatever you decide,

I share this only because it works for me, and for about a dozen other people I've shared this with.
