In some perfect planter conditions (tilled to a powder, flat field) I've sat in the buddy seat while we were going 14 mph with a JD Exact Emerge. Planter and tractor did fine, corn looked great a month later checking on it. Performance metrics while we were running stayed pretty darn good. We only did that for 2 passes, mostly it was planted at 9-10mph which was their normal.
