Oregon | Early generation of the 7r had a lot of those issues out here, generally on big square stackers. The fan drive has evolved a lot over the 7r generations.
Would need to know more about your hydraulic load and how it is plumbed. For example: incorrect constant down-force plumbing can cause a high heat load that can be eliminated.
Without more information, I'd start shooting components with an infrared gun so I could see where the heat was not being dissipated correctly.
