Does anyone think that the USA has a $295B trade deficit with China wholly because China has tariffs placed on USA made products? Same applies for Canadians who have a $58B deficit with China?
Maybe, just maybe it's because we are addicted to buying inexpensive stuff. Nobody twist my arm when I need to purchase a replacement car part and I pick the cheapest available one (China made). Personal responsibility is where it should start instead of relying on government to save us from ourselves.
