Middlesex County, Ontario | When I was a technician working on automation equipment, every business call out from my personal phone was with #31# in front of it (which will make the number shown as UNKNOWN).
If they don't pick up, not my problem. There's no way a random customer is getting my number to call on evenings and weekends. Can you imagine all the stupid questions at stupid hours a nurse or receptionist would get if their personal number was visible on calls every day?
Pressure the business to give out company phones. We did get a phone allowance, but it did not cover the whole bill and we did not get standby pay.
