NW Iowa | That’s a tough one. What is done is done. No amount of money will return the wrong tooth back to original. But the dentist did make a mistake that should not have happened. If the drilled area is small there might never be a problem for the rest of her life. If the hole is big, leaving what is left of the tooth thin walled there could be a problem with a cracked tooth later on. An xray will tell the truth with that factor. In the big picture it’s not that big of a mistake but like I said it should never have happened. I would request an X-ray of the wrongly drilled tooth to have evidence on file in case some problem with the tooth shows up and this dentist is out of the picture. The problem could show up many years from now. | |
