Sometimes dad and grampa might be successful but are arseholes and the farm ends with them because of it. Nothing is simple, especially trying to get a farm to successfully last beyond 3 or 4 generations. Too much success can be just as damaging as too little if hard work isn't learned from compassionate men that let hard work earn decision making.
