If our national debt is your concern you shaould be against tariffs and tax cuts. The reason the national debt is the level it is is mainly due to trump and Bush jrs tax cuts.

What to tariffs do? cause an economic slowdown and likely a recession...what does the government have to do in a recession? INJECT MONEY INTO THE ECONOMY...which increases national debt along with the tax income falling which exaggerates it. Trumps tariffs will lead to an increased deficit and more growth to the national debt...I mean trump already added more than 7 trillion to the debt in his first 4 years...which is the most of any president...even in 8 years.
