| I started getting garbage calls on my cell phone a few months ago. I'm careful not to answer them, but I did make a mistake and answered one time. I did seem to get more calls as a result. I had 2 calls that were "private number" calls recently. They came in 4 minutes apart from one another. Not 100% sure if those were from a telemarketer or not, but it's from someone that's intentionally hiding their number using *67 and I've heard telemarketers sometimes use this tactic. I also get some garbage text messages too, they'll say something to try and get you to respond. They appear to be just fishing to find out if the number is good. | |
