I will 100% agree with this statement. We're not going to cut our way out of it but your capital gains idea and then cutting federal spending where we can and it isnt going to hurt the economy is a great idea. One thing I will throw in is closing some of the tax loop holes for the top 1% as well. In my opinion, theres no reason why someone making 10 million a year should be paying a lower tax rate than someone who is making 150k a year.
The worst mistake that could happen in terms of the debt and deficit is these tariffs and then adding more tax cuts that will add trillions more to both.
