between  the sun's ultraviolet rays  degrading the plastic,   and  the  daily  expansion,  contraction  (they get quite ballooned out) and   sucked in almost kinked overnight...   Something has to give.
Every one I have owned  does it.    They  usually show signs of this  in  3-4 yrs  with how I treat them.
