Our deficits aren't a problem, you run deficits with alot of places: grocery store, gas station, seed guy, fertilizer guy, healthcare, ect... I can go on and on with all the places who have trade deficits with and you likely only have a positive trade deficit with a couple places. You likely have zero trade balances that are completely even.

Now theres nothing wrong with this because you still make money. Exactly like the country as a whole...companies import raw materials into the US, turn those raw materials into products and sell them to make a profit, this is how its been for decades. Great example is car companies, they import some materials and then assemble the cars here in the US and make money on them...if it wasn't profitable they wouldn't do it. On the flip side, if they produced everything here it would cost them much more and in turn cost you the consumer more.
