We ended up with a couple yearling heifers that were bred when they were 4-5 months old. Just before removing the big herd bull. I feel bad for the girls, but I guess our fertility is good right? I worry more about yearling/small bulls getting on the older cows. Some of those guys need a bucket to stand on.
