Bryce I agree...did not have near these issues back in TX. These are hair ewes and broke to electric net ( no single polywire). Ewe lambs were home raised, so they w had all their CDT. Talked to Pipestone guys and they said no need to revac prior to lambing as it showed no benefit in the research. Starting to think that was a mistake. E coli was isolated, clostridial been a much bigger issue. We are now able to access a type A autogenous thru Cambridge Labs that they developed for dairy cattle in the region. My concern there is if it'll be too hard on the ewes...has a lot of "stuff" in a single shot...myco, clostridial, etc etc

Next group starts lambing 5/10 and last group on 5/25 so we may just run them back through and do another clostridial round.

Our normal protocol is all ewes / ewe lambs get vibrio and Footvax and wormed at mid gestation. May have to add back in the clostridial and possibly an Endovac or Jvac for e coli? Not sure if that will be ongoing issue or a one off.

Biggest issue here is numbers. Only my wife and I with 1700 hair ewes ...simply don't have the barn capacity to shed lamb them
