dirt is washing into the old tile that was cut when replaced with the larger deeper tile. When the old tile fills with dirt, they will quit sucking in. This should go away in a year or so but could randomly appear in a spot in an extremely wet year. Read my post above again.


I read your post, maybe you should read mine again. That piece of cement tile you see is from the old municipal drain that got replaced. They dug the entire cement tile up, start to finish and layed the new cement tile in the exact same spot but deeper. There is no old cement tile to fill with dirt.
