North East Wimmera district of Victoria.

There is one in an Agricultural Museum in Donald, our home town.

It was in going order and actually harvested some standing wheat, had a box that filled into 2 3 bushel jute bags, which were then placed on a carrying platform., and unloaded into heaps for transporting to home or storage.  I presume it could still be oiled up and put into a standing crop today

Operators seat was right beside the exhaust manifold of the petrol/kerosene engine - very HOT spot to spend your time .

Compared to 30ft open fronts it was a real eye opener for the younger fry.
