In regards to the life ins policy make sure it is term or somehow designated for funeral. If she’d of had a regular life ins policy and would have needed LTC facility needs and with her lack of funds Medicaid. Medicaid would have drained the cash value of policy first ( down to approximately $2000). Also a POA is important along with Will and executor named.
