| It does take some getting used to, depending on the place and circumstance. I'm a single dad and often go get groceries on Sunday evenings, then will treat myself to a nice relaxing dinner somewhere. It definitely helps to unwind and mentally prepare for the week. Also, driving anywhere over a half hour, I'd much rather be alone than have a passenger. I've vacationed alone several times too. And yes, you do meet some interesting people.
