| It used to bother me a little when I was younger, but not so much anymore. I usually sit at the bar, if they have one. The biggest thing about dining alone, and this is actually a big pet peeve of mine, is you're quite apt to be asked to move, so a couple or group can all sit together. I hate this! Especially when it's a more expensive restaurant and I'm spending lots of money! And part of it is perhaps my fault. For example, lets say there are 3 empty seats in a row at the bar. I'll alway go for the middle seat. Now, because there is an empty seat on either side of me, I'm quite apt to be asked to move, so that a couple can sit together. But, I hate invading people's space by sitting close when I don't need to. | |
