Subject: RE: Dining alone at restaurants

East of Broken Bow
I guess I never worried about it. If I am alone and hungry enough, I will dine alone. If I'm only a little hungry and on my way home with leftovers in the frig, I usually head home. It is more about economics than anything. If I have only so much I want to spend eating out, I'd rather eat leftovers 2-3 times, then go out with my wife and kids.
I do sometimes feel guilty eating at a table for 4 myself if others are looking for a table, but I welcome anyone to sit with me and eat. Normally I look for another guy alone and offer a seat at my table if he wants it. Met some interesting people that way, an airline pilot, a visitor from another country looking for relatives in the USA, etc. Occasionally I regret offering a seat, but not very often.
