Yes ,that is the plan of theUSA.Keep food cheap,encourage production.The masses will have more dollars to spend on other items,this causing more demand,more things needing to be built and made,,,thing is it works til they sent all manufacturing over seas.So we build only houses now...(now they will call this politics ,,it is not ,,it is just historical info,do not delete)

One of the last phrases of older farm bill——I think the ‘support payments’ are way more the benefit of the 98% or so of the population that are not producers. Spot on, Maine Farmer
