Southern Missouri | From what I read here , our area seems like a lot of others and yes the established land buyers are still here although I just can’t believe we would have to be seeing at least a little slippage in price in all areas , looks to me like have to be some given stocks and grains etc all receding, as always the worst part here is the younger guys in career build mode are really taking a hit in cash flow and used machinery value , always hits that first, I’ll also be surprised if someone shows me the quote where I said land can never go down , bought my first farm in 1975 and in 1995 it was actually worth less , that was 20 years , I am familiar with land price struggles, still have that 40 , was 17 and bought it without my dad knowing it , I just knew he would kill me when he found out ,but still here
