Southern Missouri | The US cotton industry must be getting ready to have one heck of a high reward , hit 60 cents today in the front month , dang near printed .59 , here in 2025, chart shows where we were in the previous 5 yrs May contracts , either our industry was getting incredibly rich during those 5 years which were averaging 89 almost 90 cents or we’re incredibly broke here at 63, cotton production is a good bit more capital intensive than corn or soybeans and the expenses that make up that capital spent have gone through the roof .
