Boone & Crockett - 4/4/2025 19:32 I don’t know about that, J.C. My wife plunked a nice deposit on a new Lexus yesterday that just beat the Canadian import tariffs. By next week she could prolly scalp it for a profit. Going to Des Moines Monday to pick it up. But I guarantee she has no intention to flip it…. An example of what I was seeing also. The problem comes when everything on the lot that folks want to buy at current prices is gone. Same thing with clothes and other items. It will take a while to work through current inventories but then.... A company I know makes a product that uses steel tubing from Canada. When current inventory is used up prices will have to change. There is no domestic source for some sizes and chemistry. Same for many bolts and hardware items. |
