The blanket tariff approach makes as much sense as burning down your house so you can cook a steak with the flames. Trying to fix one thing by destroying yourself will never make sense.
The house is already in shambles thanks to greedy idiots. Completely gut or buring it down now and take a few years to rebuild. Or nickel and dime it for 5, 10, 15 years and still have a piece of crap after that time. Thats what dont make sense. Its like fixing equipment, you can either spend the money fix stuff before it causes problems if you're in the area anyway or let it break and hve to fix what you already fixed plus what broke. We've been doing the latter too long and is why we have this mess. |
