
| ONfarmer - 4/3/2025 20:06 Well a weird one. When we finally got around to clearing it this time, there was collection of dry corn sitting in the top of the transition piece. There wasn't much else with it. It didn't take hardly any force at all of touching it and it all let go and made a strange sound as if a vacuum had just let go and air came running up and out as well as down the spout. There wasn't more than a couple handfuls of grain here so makes me really wonder how it got hung up so easy.
I'd put money on the metal being damp/wet when that corn first came in contact with it.
It really doesn't take much water to screw up the flow of corn sliding (not sliding is more accurate) on wet steel.
