Our two party system creates two factions. Many people want to belong, it is instinctive I think. These issues are hard as they make you reflect on what you actually believe. Often we don't know enough to have strong opinions, but there is very strong pressure from the group to go along, so many become very opinionated anyway. It's just human nature IMO. | |
