Saronville NE
This is what I see looking at things

Row crop will never be very profitable, as soon as prices go up, rent goes up fertilizer goes up everything goes up so margin is never good. So then prices tank it never comes down input wise till everyone lost everything they made or prices go back up.

Cattle at least feeding and backgrounding not necessarily cow calf. Things will go up but when market crashes. Prices come down so that can buy cattle right and still make money, so may have a bad year but not several in a row. So always a chance to make money. Plus if cattle are too high that day is always another sale or opportunity the next day since basically sales 6 days a week. Row crop is once a time chance you either rent it or buy it that day or you don't.

Jmo. Know lot disagree with me. I like cattle better than dealing with most people.
