Run empty first and run at less than half flow for a couple hundred bushels.
It doesn’t take much moisture to make things sticky and the flow of grain will be slowed. When the flow gets slowed and you keep adding more, eventually it just gets plugged up.
Best/easiest way to dry things out is to run a reduced flow of dry grain through it. We run into this a lot where the corn slides into our feed mill. Even heavy wet air can give problems.
