I think you are wrong on this. CA wine and WI cheese will now be able to increase their prices somewhat since there is less price pressure from imports. It won't be dollar for dollar but there will be upward price movement due to less competition via price. Would you expect to sell your soybeans for today's price if South American prices suddenly increased 30% on the world market?
