Trump does with Taxes.. or Tariffs what Biden did with Subsidies in his “Inflation Reduction” Act.
It’s as simple as that.
Both are Inflationary.
Agree or disagree with the IRA. It wasn’t about reducing inflation. It was a dem wish list. It had nothing to do with inflation good or bad. Rampant inflation was happening before it. Hence the name. Deficit spending needs to be stopped and both sides are to blame for that.
Tariffs, mismanagement of a pandemic, handing out money while having a stalled manufacturing system caused inflation.
Trump Tariffs = Biden’s “IRA” = Inflation.
