Foreign grain buyers will buy elsewhere if they can and if necessary they'll reduce their consumption of grains in order to retaliate against the tariff regime. Nothing will be business as usual which means the risk premium will come out of farmers pockets.
As much as tariffs have been talked about for the past 6 months, I don't think they could possibly be considered a "black swan event".
Trade disruptions (tariffs included) with foreign countries are not at all rare or unforeseen.
