Subject: RE: Skid steer mulcher/brush cutter recommendations

SE Iowa
We got a Skid pro mower last winter, it does do a pretty good job and we push it to the limit we some big trees. We have the high flow 84 inch so Im knocking down some ‘‘12 inch trees with it, if you take it slow it works pretty good. However the blades that the sent with it weren’t heat treated right and they broke on me pretty quick. Then the seal on the gearbox itself starting leaking and we had to get a seal kit for that to turn it into a grease gearbox instead. The customer service on the thing is HORRIBLE. The guys always answer the phone and say they’ve got it and are sending it and it never shows up so you call again in a week and same conversation again and again. It took me 6 weeks of hounding them to get them to finally send the seal kit. They knew it was on warranty so no money in it for them to send it out. I would highly recommend NOT getting a mower from them based on that reason alone.
