Subject: RE: John Deere 455

We have done some no till with a 455 by cranking up the hydraulic pressure and planting a couple days after a good rain while the ground was softer . Planted beans on old bean ground , not a perfect job , seeded o little heavier but considering the savings not doing tillage it worked good . Also planted winter wheat after canola . Had to fasten seed hoses on better as residue was knocking them off . Have a no till drill now the same width as the 455 so don’t no till with it any longer .
