I always thought that putting it on the machinery would be safer.
Easy enough to drive it on the back of the header trailer or put a lift on the combine feederhouse.
Ihve been torn between getting the little one that goes between the fender wells on the pickup, but only goes 35, or the bigger one that goes 50, but will need a trailer.
