Mid-Michigan | You know, I think I'm sorry I posted this. I guess it is just out of frustration. I try to run my farm profitably (I'm sure we all do). Im not weighted too heavy in any one area (land, equipment, house, divorce, grain bins etc.), but I can't (at least not a living wage). I won't go broke but if I'm going to do this I want to turn a profit. I do not have crop insurance. Don't want it and am sick of my tax dollars supporting it. For those of you who are about to tell me that is my problem, save your breath. I'll make my way without fraud. I try to only read news from legitimate news agencies (and even then I try to fact check it with others and then only believe about a third of it). Most of my internet reading is done in the bathroom (lets you know the value I put on most of the internet articles I read). After reading some of the replies/comments to the article I posted (I have no idea to the validity to any part of this article), I've been reassured of my hypothesis. There are some very smart people who convey their message with clarity and valid statements backed up by reasoning. There are smart people who can't write well and/or aren't able to get their point across. Then, there are some really dumb people. Dumb people seem to talk (or in this case type), way more than they should. I'm sure they don't mean to be dumb, but they are. I'm really sorry for posting this as it really isn't a marketing question. It just upset me. And to the guy who asked me "why"? I can't answer you as I am one of the dumb ones I refer about above. Answering that is way above my intellectual ability. | |
