north central Ohio
Had a 3020 35’ head and we had issues with the auger cracking at the holes for changing retractable fingers. We eventually reinforced that area with a steel piece. The head cut fine but didn’t really like it all that well once the sun started to set. Ran the 3020 7 years before buying a macdon fd135. Only have 3 seasons on it so little hard to tell on long term maintenance but we should have bought on a long time ago. Really like our case combines over years but their heads just aren’t that good. Should have noted we did have an air bar on the 3020 last 2 years we had and it. While the air bar does help, if you run soybeans on the green side the leaves blowing everywhere is pretty annoying.
