I believe you’re right. We started using the 30 cell plate last year to lower pops.
I can hit my target window with either, the 30 cell or 60 cell. If using the half rate sprocket, the 60 cell, virtually becomes the 30 cell but with more top end population potential, if using the full rate sprocket. I remember years ago planting milo with my Deere 7100 and Kinze brush meters, that I think I used a big sprocket on the seed transmission. I was using the red 60 cell plates, also. |
