Another is anytime Norway is used as the example of green/socialist/equitable/diverse/successful. Norway exported generations of it's population, went through further travail in WWII and decades after, then struck more oil per capita than Saudi Arabia, so yes, Norway is a lucky, lucky place to live at the moment, unlike when my ancestors left 150 years ago, or the next century, or most of the many centuries previous. | |
