Holly Hill, SC | Those seals are used on the smoke transparent seed tubes that do not have a thru hole on the seed sliding side of the tube. You do not want dust to get trapped between the sensor and the window. I first saw these on my JD 1720 Maxemerge XP planter. That special shaped oring is pretty important. Normal oring doesn't work very good. Silicone is the next best option if desperate. | |
