It has taken medical science 200 years to advance humans to the point where people are so healthy and living so long that they can deny that science and medicine is what got us here.
Abraham lived to be 175 years old. Issac 180. Jacob 147. Joseph 110. Moses 120.
Yup. We are living so long nowadays.
And then there is quality of life. I would rather be fit as a fiddle and be able to do anything and everything I wanted to do and die at age 60 than to be overweight and on drugs from teens through death and live to be 90.
I got off the prescriptions and dropped 20 pounds by eating what the "scientific consensus" says will give me a heart attack. But you know what? I can run and breathe better than I have been able to for 20 years. If I can actually live and yet a heart attack kills me dead at 50, that is preferable to being sick for life and battling with cancer for several years while slowly wasting away to death at 80.
And eating loads of saturated animal fat has eliminated (for me) the three greatest factors in heart disease: blood pressure, insulin insensitivity/resistance, and obesity.
