McCanna, ND		There is a re-coat period if you read the cans. I found out the hard way on my stair railings I built as well.

Rustoleum is within 2 hours of first coat OR AFTER 48hrs.

My brain read after 2hrs to within 48hrs, and I ended up with wrinkled paint on that railing.
