Need to start with a wool pad to cut the heavy oxidation out. Around 1800-2000 rpm and keep it moving it will cut fast. Then you can switch to the black foam pad and machine polish around 1200-1600rpms. May have to polish 2-3 times to bring the gloss out. Paint could be getting thin at this point so be careful stay away from edges you will burn through. Each time you polish use lighter pressure than the time before. Follow up with a glaze or wax to protect your work. Those 8000 series didn’t have the greatest paint from factory just never been known for turning into glass without paint correction techniques like wet sanding which is next level stuff
