This will be our fourth spring pulling a 1989 honda fourtrax. I don't know about your 4 wheeler model but I was told to leave mine running when towing.
It's has worked way better than expected. Most of our ground is within 5 miles.
In fact I would like to add a 2nd four wheeler to tow.
