NW KS/ SC ID | Im sure AI wont be able to do a "great" job running a combine, but it will probably be able to do a "good" job, which is already better than many combine drivers currently.
one thing that might make it do better is a master/slave arrangement, where data is shared between the manned machine and it, as it follows the manned machine around the field. manned machine can map out the obstacles, and go tackle challenging parts of the field while the unmanned is left in the easy parts of the field. you know, doing what used to be done by Dad and a young kid.
This crap is being developed to replace you and me and any offspring anyone may have, so Im not going to pretend its going to be great.
