Funny thing is farmland is like 37 PE with years of crazy growth and yet about all farmers will say the stock market is a riskier investment. Both are overvalued in my opinion but I actually see farmland setting back more than the S&P or being stagnant for a long, long time and losing value with inflation figured in.
