Yes, use a relay for each half width disconnect clutch since on a "square" headland both disconnects will cycle at the same time when the planter is raised due to the implement switch, auto swath or the Master Switch. Having one for each half width disconnect wired directly to the battery is best. The Kinze wiring that had been used may be adequate but larger is better.

Another benefit to using relays is that when the clutches are released to resume planting, the magnetic field in the half width disconnect clutches will collapse and induce what could be a damaging back EMF to the Ag Leader components, This could be an issue since the half width disconnect have a fairly massive coil. By having the relay in the middle of things, the Ag Leader module will be isolated from it. The back EMF will be transferred to the tractor battery which will tolerate it without problems.
