Re-soled a pair of redwing supersole2 last year, they came back same as new no extra sole depth. The orginal sole was cracking making them no longer waterproof, waterproof again when they came back, cost as much as a pair of imports though. I sent them to redwing for the resole, maybe its the company you are using or the specific pair of boots you have?
