I don't have robots but just built a new freestall barn in late 2023. 312' long. I will tell you that the stalls in the first 150' feet are always being used and the ones at the far end are hardly ever used.
My old freestall barn was 160' and every stall was used equally.
Based on my unscientific observations, I would keep it under 200' if I could.
Jay, I would say there is still a Vlventilation issue. Our freestall pens are 485' long and all stalls get used |
