Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | You will need a "new" configuration that includes the things you've done before and also the new features of the clutch system. The fact that diagnostics indicates that it found a clutch module is great and proves that you have it wired correctly to the CAN communication system. The CAN communication system uses the small round connectors with various "Y" branches to interconnect the CAN modules together.
However to actually make use of the cutch module, you will need a configuration that includes information about it. I have done this several times with an InCommand 1200 but I suspect the steps will be essentially the same for your GO16.
This means you need another or a more extensive configuration. You should not have to start over "completely from scratch" as some of the "pieces" such as your tractor are likely the same. For example when you start to build this new configuration, you will be asked about a tractor. If the tractor has been used before, you can just chose that tractor from a list. You will also need to chose a planter. I'm not positive if you will need to go through the process of connecting the Kinze sensors one by one for the Kinze PMM. I am not using a Kinze with MuxBus so I am using the Seed Tube Monitoring Module instead.
You will need to enter "new" information concerning the Clutch Control module. These can be setup with various sections of rows. Since you plan to use the half width disconnect clutches, your planter will have two sections of 8 or 12 rows.
The Ag Leader Clutch system like most others uses electricity to Stop or prevent a section from planting. This is the opposite logic of a spray valve where the system uses electricity to Open the spray valve. The Ag Leader Clutch Module feeds 12V constantly to the clutches and completes the Ground connection to activate each clutch to cause it to Stops planting. With a half width disconnect clutch, the electrical load is often more than the Clutch Module can handle. It is quite common to use a suitable relay to control each half width disconnect clutch and run a heavy pair of wires from the tractor battery to the relays. The Ag Leader Clutch module than triggers the relay which actually cycles the half width disconnect clutches. The Clutch Module can easily handle triggering the relay. As I rccall Kinze uses frame ground for their Half Width disconnect clutches so be aware of that since the frame ground may need to be disconnected.
